The Byre (sleeps 2 - 3)
- One bedroom
- Ideally suited to a couple, young family or a couple of friends with a double bed and a full-size pull out bed.
- Making the most of opportunities to bring in natural light, the open plan kitchen/dining/living area is upstairs under the eaves, providing a bright and relaxing space.
- Downstairs is the entrance, cosy bedroom and bathroom.
- The Byre opens up into the barnyard with views of the hills beyond. A seating area provides a space to sit and eat or simply relax with a drink while soaking up the outdoors.

- A bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. Towels, hand soap, bath mat and toilet rolls are provided.
- Electric heating and hot water.
- A high chair available on request.
- Bedding provided (including spares on request if needed).

- A selection of some of our favourite books for you to enjoy during your stay.
Need to know
- A stairgate is fitted at the top of the stairs for use with young children as the living space is upstairs.
- The cottages are “Shoes-off” inside so please bring your slippers or cosy socks.
- We will be making a laundry area with washing machine available in the near future. In the meantime, if you have some laundry that needs to be washed we are happy to do this up at the house.
- This is a working farm where there are vehicles, working dogs, barbed wire fences, livestock, streams and steep ground. Children should be supervised outside at all times.
- Jim and Victoria live on site and are usually on hand for help and advice.
- We do not accept dogs in The Byre
